A-1 Self Storage Facilities Collected Over 2,200 Toys for Toys for Tots This Past Holiday Season.
San Diego, CA– January 6, 2012– A-1 Self Storage, the premier provider of self storage in California, announced the final results of their 2011 U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots annual Holiday Toy Drive. Over 2,200 new and unused toys were collected from their customers and the general public at the 40 A-1 Self Storage facilities throughout California. The toys were distributed this past Christmas to underprivileged children in their communities.

The U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program was founded in 1947 by Major Bill Hendricks. Their mission is to collect new and unwrapped toys during the holiday season and distribute them as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which each campaign is conducted.
