Hello fellow self-storage professionals! My name is Mike Gong and I have had the great opportunity to serve on the CSSA board since 2017. I am the National Self Storage Leader for Arthur J. Gallagher, one of the largest insurance & risk management firms in the world. I have had the pleasure to be involved in the self-storage industry since 2002 as a risk management and insurance professional advising self-storage operators on operational risks and placement of insurance coverage for those risks in the industry. I am currently the Chair of the Marketing & Communications Committee and the Vice-Chair for our Napa Conference for the CSSA, a past SSA board member and past Chair of the Young Leaders Group of the SSA, a group formed to elevate the next generation of self-storage professionals to continue to grow our industry.

The self-storage industry has provided many opportunities for me to not only learn & grow with the evolving challenges of the business, but it has also fostered many personal friendships and relationships that will last for a lifetime. I look forward to continue serving the interests of our members for years to come.
